The Hometown All Stars Prize Pack Giveaway
I am sharing this post as part of a collaboration with Bloggin’ Mamas and The Hometown All Stars. I received books and other items in exchange for my participation. All opinions expressed are my own.
Thrifty 4nsic Gal is excited to be a part of this awesome giveaway. I was sent a package with two books, some coloring pages, balls, a drinking container, and an ice pack. I was excited to be able to get this, as I will be donating what I received to a local telethon that auctions items off to help children every year to be able to have a nice Christmas. This will also spread the word here locally where I live all about The Hometown All Stars. The Hometown All Stars want to get the word out to parents and other adults about how important it is to get the kiddo’s staying active with their “Less, Screen, More Green” motto.
The Hometown All Stars is a book series for children that focuses on teaching early sports skills along with interactive, educational activities, and more importantly – fun! Kids ages 3-7 years old and parents, teachers, librarians, and others who want to promote “Less Screen, More Green” and get kids outside and active again! The Hometown All Stars series is also for parents who don’t know much about baseball and want to be ahead of the curve when their kids begin to play, for sports enthusiasts looking for a book that doesn’t involve talking animals to read at bedtime to their children, and for anyone interested in promoting the love of baseball and sports overall to a new generation. HOMETOWN ALL STARS AT A GLANCE
Nick’s Very First Day of Baseball
Nick’s Very First Day of Baseball teaches children about baseball using real coaching techniques. In this interactive storybook, kids will find hidden baseballs in the pictures, answer trivia questions, and there’s even a page for autographs from their favorite players. Fun, interactive and educational.
When I read this book to my daughter and my nephew, they loves it. There are different trivia questions as well as hidden baseballs in the images that the kids had to find. It is interactive and educational. They had a lot of fun with this book, while still learning and strengthening their brain. I would recommend this to others.
Magic Bat Day
Magic Bat Day is the first real practice after the Hometown All Stars get their uniforms. Batting is the most fun of all skills and drills! This book concept shows techniques of how to hold the bat and where to stand. Most importantly, it shows that every kid can find their own ‘magic’ bat and the magic within themselves to hit the ball!
This book has helped my nephew to bat better than what he was doing. He is excited to be batting more and more. He is getting better and better each and every day. He can not wait to get out there this next spring and show them what he has learned from this book. He also can’t wait to tell them all about The Hometown All Stars. He is most excited about us donating the books to the local telethon auction and hope that others will donate it on when they are done with it, to spread the word to others, while continuing to be able to help other children have a better Christmas.
