1) Eligibility: The State Farm Secure Your Property Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) U.S. and the District of Columbia who are of legal age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside (and at least eighteen (18)) as of date of entry. Employees, officers & directors of State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (“Sponsor”), The Marketing Arm Inc., teamDigital Promotions, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, representatives, directors, officers, agents, divisions, dealers, affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, employees and assigns, State Farm independent contractor insurance and financial services agents and their staff, advertising, promotion and administrative agencies; and anyone else connected with the production and distribution of this Sweepstakes (collectively “Released Parties”) & their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling & their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) & those living in their same households, whether or not related to any of the above named entities are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws, rules & regulations. Unless you opt-in for future communication, the information you provide will only be used for Sweepstakes purposes.
2) Promotion Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 11:00:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) on 9/16/15 and ends at 11:59:59 PM CT on 11/11/15 (the “Promotion Period”).
3) Two Ways to Participate: During the Promotion Period, you may participate in the Sweepstakes using one (1) of the following two (2) methods: 1) On-Site Events: Attend any participating State Farm event during the Promotion Period and, following the directions provided, complete and submit all required fields, inclusive of, but not limited to, the acknowledgment of your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules, on an official entry form (“Official Entry Form”) to receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes. For a list of participating events, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: The State Farm Secure Your Property Giveaway, c/o The Marketing Arm, 1999 Bryan Street, 18th Floor, Dallas, TX 75201; or 2) Online: Visit experiencestatefarm.com & fully complete and submit the online Official Entry Form to receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address per day during the Promotion Period, regardless of the method of entry. Additional entries (beyond the specified limit) from any one person or email address will be void. Incomplete and inaccurate entries are void. The name of the “authorized account holder” associated with any given email address will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, an online service provider, or another organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Proof (to Sponsor’s satisfaction) of being the authorized account holder may be required by Sponsor. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, late, damaged, or misdirected entries, email messages; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems or other communications malfunctions; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or other technical failures; garbled, lost, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes; printing or other errors appearing within these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical,human, technical, electronic or otherwise. The use of automated entry or similar devices as specifically set forth above, is prohibited and entries through such prohibited devices are void. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants give their express permission to be contacted by Sponsor by telephone, email and/or postal mail for Sweepstakes purposes only (unless otherwise specified for opt-in purposes). All information submitted online by entrants is subject to, and will be treated in a manner consistent with, Sponsor’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy accessible at: https://www.statefarm.com/customer-care/privacy-security/privacy.
4) Drawing: Two (2) Grand Prize winner will be selected on or about 11/16/15 from among all eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period. The Drawing will be conducted by teamDigital Promotions, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a prize will be dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.Potential winner will be notified by email, telephone, overnight delivery and/or mail and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release (where legal) Publicity Release Form, and required tax documents within seven (7) days of date of issuance of notification. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible according to these Official Rules, fails to return the required documents within the specified time period, otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason; or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, he/she will forfeit his/her prize and the prize may, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, be awarded to an alternate winner. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules, the potential winner will be declared the official winner of the Sweepstakes.
5) Two (2) Grand Prize Winners: Each Grand Prize winner(s) will receive one (1) Iris Smart Home Security system, and (1) one $1,500 Lowe’s gift certificate. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,750.
