Fall for Georgia – Official Sweepstakes Rules

Timing: Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. (MDT) on September 1, 2015, and ends at 11:59 p.m. (MDT), October 31, 2015 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Sweepstakes Administrator and Sponsor: The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Sierra Trading Post, Inc. (“Sponsor” or “STP”), 5025 Campstool Rd., Cheyenne, WY 82007.

Prize Provider: The provider of the prize is Georgia Department of Economic Development (“Prize Provider”), 75 Fifth Street, NW, Suite 1200, Atlanta, GA 30308.

Introduction: STP is offering the Fall for Georgia Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. THE SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Prize Provider, which shall be final and binding in all respects. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

Eligibility: Entrant must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia Void where prohibited. Employees of Sponsor, Prize Provider, and Sponsor or Prize Provider’s parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and agents and the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) of each such employees, and all those with whom such employees are domiciled, are NOT eligible to enter or win.

How to Enter:

Online Entry: Visit the entry page and fill in the required entry information. Individuals may enter this Sweepstakes by filling out the online form only once per day (each day running from 12:00 a.m. MDT to 11:59 p.m. MDT). Limit one (1) online entry per person or email address per day. Duplicate entries on any day from any person or email address will be removed.

Facebook Application: Click through the Sweepstakes application on the Sierra Trading Post Facebook page and fill in the required entry information and submit it. Individuals may enter this sweepstakes through Facebook only once per day (each day running from 12:00 a.m. MDT to 11:59 p.m. MDT). Limit one (1) entry through Facebook per person or email address per day. Duplicate entries on any day from any person or email address will be removed.

All entries must be received by the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor is the official timekeeper for the Sweepstakes. Proof of submitting entry information is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Sponsor of such entry. Any communication or information transmitted to Sponsor through its website, by email, via Facebook or otherwise is and will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. You are providing your information to Sponsor and Prize Provider and not to Facebook. Except as otherwise disclosed in these Official Rules, and to the extent entrants may otherwise elect at the time of entry, any information collected through the Sweepstakes shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by the entrants at the time of entry, with these Official Rules, and with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

Entry must be made by the entrant, only in the manner described above. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other website or email address, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service websites, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Sweepstakes. Tampering with the entry process, Sponsor’s website or the operation of the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to the use of any device to automate the entry process, is prohibited and any entries deemed by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to have been submitted in this manner will be void. The Released Parties (defined below) shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes. The Released Parties assume no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries.

Drawing/Odds: The Sweepstakes will have two (2) winners. Any entrant selected as a potential winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements. The potential winners will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Drawing will be conducted at the end of the Sweepstakes Period by STP (or its designee), whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Potential winners will be notified by email sometime after October 31, 2015. If the first potential winner does not respond to notification attempts within five (5) days after the initial attempt to contact such potential winner, an alternate entrant may be selected at random from all remaining eligible entries received, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, to take his or her place.

Prize Details:

Prize package 1 name: Romantic Getaway for Two

Trip dates: Between October 31 and August 25, 2016 (subject to availability and blackout dates: October through Mid-November weekends, Thanksgiving week, Christmas through New Year’s Week, Valentine’s Day weekend). Reservations must be made in advance.

Prize Provider: Georgia Department of Economic Development

Prize includes: Lodging, select meal and activity certificates for a stay at Forrest Hills Mountain Resort in Dahlonega, GA. Lodging includes: two consecutive nights in a newly renovated private cabin with a 350 gallon hot tub, king size bed, covered porch and stone fireplace. Select meals include: candlelit dinner one night in our couples-only dining room, daily southern breakfast, picnic lunch one afternoon. Select activities include: your choice of either a guided one hour horseback ride or romantic carriage ride with Gold City Corral – all located within walking distance of your cabin. Prize does not include: Airfare or ground travel, alcoholic beverages, end-of-tour gratuities, travel insurance, separate lodging for travel companion, telephone calls, laundry service and other personal expenses incurred during the trip, expenses incurred due to inclement weather or other acts of God, altered river, road or trail conditions, sickness, flight delays or unforeseen security issues.

Prize package 2 name: Family Yurt Getaway

Trip dates: Between October 31 and June 6, 2016 (subject to availability and blackout dates). Reservations must be made in advance.

Prize Provider: Georgia Department of Economic Development

Prize includes: Lodging includes: two-night stay in a yurt at one of the following Georgia State Park locations: High Falls, Cloudland Canyon, Red Top Mountain, Fort Yargo or Tugaloo. Select activities include: 2 adult and 2 children passes to the Southern Trilogy Homes; Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Smith Plantation; and 2 adult and 2 children passes to the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Package includes one (1) $500 eGift card toward Sierra Trading Post merchandise and one (1) $250 gift card from Georgia Tourism.

Prize does not include: Airfare or ground travel, meals, alcoholic beverages, end-of-tour gratuities, travel insurance, separate lodging for travel companions, telephone calls, laundry service and other personal expenses incurred during the trip, expenses incurred due to inclement weather or other acts of God, altered river, road or trail conditions, sickness, flight delays or unforeseen security issues.

Prize conditions: Trip must be completed no later than August 25, 2016 for the Romantic Getaway for two and no later than June 6, 2016 for the Family Yurt Getaway and must be booked within three (3) months of departure; trip departure dates and availability subject to changes and/or alterations at the sole discretion of Prize Provider; trip routes, content, and experience subject to changes and/or alterations at the sole discretion of Prize Provider; trip does not include any required pre-trip or post-trip lodging, transfers, or meals before the trip begins or after the trip ends; and redemption may be substituted for a trip of equal or greater value subject to availability and the sole discretion of Prize Provider. Total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $1,370 for the Romantic Getaway option, or $1,050 for the Family Yurt Getaway option. The prize winner’s travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older, or if such travel companion is under the age of majority in his or her state of residence (a “minor”), the prize winner must be such minor’s parent or legal guardian, or travel with the written permission of such parent or legal guardian in form and substance acceptable to Sponsor and Prize Provider in their sole discretion. The prize winner and his or her travel companion(s) must travel together and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if and as applicable, and comply with any applicable hotel check-in requirements, such as presentation of a major credit card. The prize winner and his or her travel companion are responsible for obtaining required and recommended immunizations, if and as applicable. Travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. All aspects of the travel portions of the prize must be conducted on such dates as determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion. The dates of departure and return are subject to change at Prize Provider’s sole discretion. Prize Provider reserves the right to select hotels in its sole discretion. The ARV for prizes is an estimate made before the Sweepstakes begins. The prize winner will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual costs are less than the estimate made in these Official Rules. All expenses and incidental costs not expressly stated in the description above, including but not limited to, airfare or other transportation to destination, additional ground transportation, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes, gratuity or other expenses are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The prize winner and prize winner’s travel companion may be required to sign the “Prize Claim Documents” (as defined below) prior to any travel documents being released. Exact prize components are subject to change without notice. The prize restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and the prize described above may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions imposed by Sponsor, Prize Provider, or any third party vendors or service providers engaged by the Prize Provider and associated with the prize, which may be stated in the “Prize Claim Documents” (as defined below) and/or other travel documents or agreements. IF THE PRIZE WINNER IS UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRIP ON THE DATES SELECTED BY PRIZE PROVIDER, THE PRIZE WILL BE FORFEITED IN ITS ENTIRETY. In the event the prize winner and/or his or her travel companion engages in behavior that, as determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion, is obnoxious or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Prize Provider reserves the right to terminate the trip or other applicable experience early, in whole or in part, and send the prize winner and/or his or her travel companion home with no further compensation.
