Bamboo fabric is generally used to produce intimate apparel such as socks, underwear, t-shirts bathing suit, bathrobes and most especially nightwear.  Bamboo fabric is best used for child’s garments and is found to be the perfect fabric for children’s delicate skin.  It is also perfect for the elderly or any one that has a sensitive skin.  In addition to clothing, bamboo fabric is also being widely used in non-woven fabric, medical supplies and sanitary materials.  The fabric is softer and more comfortable.  The fabric is anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic.  Since it is organic and has natural properties it is non-irritating and thermo-regulating.  The fabric is similar to that of fine cashmere.  Because of the cashmere feel, I also use the wash cloths on our baby kittens eyes.  As kittens grow and their eyes start to open they sometimes have a hard time with keeping them open.  That is caused by the other kittens in the litter scratching with their nails.  I have a kitten right now that I am using a washcloth on.  It is soft for her eyes and I get the washcloth wet and wipe her eyes with it three times a day.  It is honestly helping her.  No fabric is left behind and the softness in the bamboo wash cloths is important for a delicate baby kitten.
