We Enjoyed our Time at the #AnnieMovie
Annie is a young, happy foster kid who’s also tough enough to make her way on the streets of New York in 2014. Originally left by her parents as a baby with the promise that they’d be back for her someday, it’s been a hard knock life ever since with her mean foster mom Miss Hannigan. But everything’s about to change when the hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in.
My family and I were able to attend the Advance Screening of Annie the Movie, which comes out 12/19/2014, just in time for Christmas. It was over an hour away from me. The screening was to be played at 10 AM. We left our house at 8 AM and arrived at 9:27 AM. When we arrived, the vendors took my information and let us in.
While we were waiting for the movie to start, we got our refreshments and went back and waited for the Annie Movie to start. the movie started and it was a funny movie most of the time. I say most of the time, because I did cry at one point in the movie. I get a little sentimental easily. The movie had great musicals and dancing just like the gold ol’ Annie Movie. There was updating singing and I have to say the star of Annie was so cute and she sang VERY well and so did Jamie Foxx. Cameron Diaz played the orphanage mom. I don’t want to give too much away, but I really enjoyed the movie. It was not boring by all means and a bunch of laughing in the theatre as well as singing too. 😉 The audience was just as much into the movie as myself and family. My favorite song from the movie, of course “The sun’ll come out tomorrow”.
I want to thank Sony Pictures for allowing myself and my family passes to see the advance screening of the new Annie Movie. We had a great time away from home on a Saturday. We spent the remainder of the day together and drove back home talking about what each of us liked about the movie.
