ELIGIBILITY: Hartz® Spin to Win Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age or older, and the age of majority in their state of residence, as of 5/26/2014, with access to the Internet at all times during the Sweepstakes Period (as defined below) and subsequent Prize Award Period (as defined below). (Void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions and all overseas military installations). Employees, officers, personnel, and directors and their immediate family members (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of The Hartz Mountain Corporation (“Sponsor”), Deloitte Consulting LLP (“Administrator”), Deloitte LLP and its subsidiaries, all of their respective past, present and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Facebook. By entering these Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to these Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on 6/6/2014 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 7/13/2014 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS: To enter the Sweepstakes, click on the link for the Sweepstakes on either the Hartz Page on Facebook, Hartz.com, or in the Hartz newsletter, then follow the directions to accept the application via Facebook Connect. The first time you enter the application, you will be required to play a tutorial version of the game. By completing the tutorial, you will receive twenty (20) entries into the prize drawing for the the promotional period that is live at time of completion of the tutorial. You will also have the chance to receive additional entries through game play. You can play the game by clicking on the game mechanism up to ten (10) times per day. Entries will only be used for the promotional period active at the time of your game play. Game plays received from any person/e-mail address/Facebook ID in a given day in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Any attempt to use multiple names or Facebook IDs or other tactics to play more than the stated limits may result in the disqualification by Sponsor from the Sweepstakes and all associated entries will be void. Sponsor’s IT system shall be the official timekeeper for all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Entries generated by mechanical, script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

SELECTION OF SWEEPSTAKES WINNERS: Three (3) potential winners (each a “Winner”) will be selected in random drawings held at three periods throughout the promotional period. The first Winner will be selected on or about 6/25/2014 from all eligible entries received between 12:00:01 a.m. ET on 6/6/2014 and 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 6/22/2014. The second winner will be selected on or about 7/9/2014 from all eligible entries received between 12:00:01 a.m. ET on 6/23/2014 and 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 7/6/2014. The third winner will be selected on or about 7/24/2014 from all eligible entries received between 12:00:01 a.m. ET on 7/7/2014 and 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 7/20/2014. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential Winners will be notified by e-mail and may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release, within seven (7) days of date of issuance (“Prize Award Period”). At the sole discretion of Sponsor, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate Winner may result from any of the following: (1) a potential Winner’s failure to respond to Winner notification within the Prize Award Period; (2) the return of a notification as undeliverable after two (2) attempts; (3) a potential Winner’s failure to timely provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof of age, identity and residency; and (4) any other non-compliance with the Official Rules. In the event that a potential Winner is disqualified for any reason or forfeits their prize, Sponsor may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, award or not award the Prizes (defined below) to alternate potential Winners selected at random.

Prize: Three (3) total winners will be selected, one (1) at the end of each promotional period (approximately on or about 6/25/2014, 7/9/2014, and 7/24/2014). Each winner will receive an assortment of dog products selected by Sponsor (Approximate Retail Value: US$50) and US$1,000 American Express® Gift Card. Gift card is subject to terms and conditions specified by issuer. All prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value not to exceed $1,050. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of his or her Prize, if applicable.
