I just get my calendar out and start making notes about the more important things we want to do. ex..camps and events and vacation days. then I weed out what won’t work well together or makes our days too hectic. Then at last I ask my kid about some of the things I thought she might want to do (usually she vetoes about half) and that’s it 🙂 It only takes 2 whole movies playing in the background and getting a pizza delivered to have enough time to plan our summer.

Well we’re doing chemo & with any luck, a bone marrow transplant this summer. So that’s our summer plans. With all the doctor appointments that go with that, there isn’t time for anything else!

I plan very carefully! I try to work around my little ones nap schedule if possible. I try to make all trips family fun!

I have all appointments, Little League practices and games, Hunter Safety Courses, Library Hour, ect. marked on a calendar that hangs on our fridge! It’s a very delicate process 😉 lol

Thankfully as my children have gotten older, planning for the summer has gotten easier. They each have camps they want to attend, and a couple of other activities & then a week away for us all as a family. Just a calendar & trying to get all sign-ups done before summer break makes it easy to manage!

I write everything on a calendar that hangs by my door. I check it regularly.
