CONTEST DATES
The Dollar Tree’s Santa Challenge Christmas Game Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is being held by Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. (“Dollar Tree”). The Sweepstakes Entry Period (the “Sweepstakes Period”)
begins at 12:01am Eastern Time (“ET”) on Thursday, November 14, 2013 and closes at 11:59pm Eastern Time (“ET”) on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 (the “Promotion Period). Entries received after
Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at 11:59pm Eastern Time (“ET”) will be disqualified. The Sweepstakes Period consists of three (3) phases as set forth below:
Phase 1: Submission: November 14, 2013 – December 25, 2013
Phase 2: Judging: December 26, 2013 – January 25, 2014
Phase 3: Winners Announcement: January 26, 2014 – February 22, 2014
For the purpose of this Promotion, each phase will begin at 12:01am Eastern Time (“ET”) and will end at 11:59pm Eastern Time (“ET”). Sway® is the official time-keeping device for the Promotion.
PROMOTIONAL ELIGIBILITY
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. This offer is void wherever prohibited or restricted. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. The Promotion is open to legal residents of the
contiguous forty-eight (48) United States and the District of Columbia who are age eighteen years old (18) or older as of October 31, 2013. A person who complies with all the eligibility rules shall be referred
to as “Entrant.” Employees of Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and their immediate family (parent, child, sibling and spouse) and individuals residing in the same household (whether or not related),
and its subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, service providers, prize suppliers, their advertising or promotion agencies, those involved in the production, development, implementation or handling of Promotion
(collectively, the “Entities”), and any agents acting for, or on behalf of the above Entities are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. Non-compliance with these Official Rules shall result in disqualification
from the Promotion.
PRIZES
One Hundred (100) Bonus Game winners will receive a $10 Dollar Tree gift card each. Ten (10) Christmas Game winners will receive a $100 Dollar Tree gift card each.
A winner is responsible for the reporting and payment of all state, federal and local taxes applicable to the receipt of this prize. The winner acknowledges that the prize may be taxable and agrees to provide
information for, and verify by signature, the appropriate IRS and other forms as determined by Dollar Tree. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of a prize is permitted except that
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion of a prize) with a prize of comparable or greater value or cash value. In the event that a prize cannot be
awarded for any reason or a winner is not capable of redeeming a prize for any reason, Sponsor shall not be obligated to award any prize. If, for any reason, more than the stated number of prizes are
available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes in such category by random drawing from among eligible prize claimants in such prize category or in a manner to be determined by
Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion. All decisions of Dollar Tree relating to this Promotion will be final. All entry materials submitted become the property of Dollar Tree.
HOW TO ENTER
During Phase 1: Submission, visit www.SantaChallenge.com and click “Play” to being playing the Christmas Game. The Christmas Game consists of five (5) levels and four (4) Bonus Games.
Upon successful completion of the entire Christmas Game, the Entrant will supply their email address to earn one entry for the Dollar Tree’s Santa Challenge
Christmas Game prize. Upon successful
completion
each
Bonus Game, the Entrant will supply their email address to earn one entry for the Bonus Game prize. Multiple entries are permitted.
WINNER SELECTION
Entrants may win up to one (1) Bonus Game and/or one (1) Christmas Game prize.
During Phase 2: Judging, the potential winner(s) will be selected from eligible entries received during Phase 1: Submission using a Random Number Generator (RNG). The odds of being selected as a
potential winner depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Phase 1: Submission period. Potential winners will be notified via email address supplied during the Promotion entry and will be
asked to provide their full name, age and mailing address within (a specified time period). Winners will be announced during Phase 3: Winners Announcement. Prizes will be mailed within four weeks of
Phase 3: Winners Announcement. If a potential winner does not respond within the timeframe stated in the notification, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place.
HOW TO CLAIM PRIZE
Sponsor will reasonably attempt to notify Prize Winner via the address, telephone number(s), and/or e-mail address provided on the entry form.
