One of my favorite Childhood memories was on the 4th of July, we didn’t have much money for fireworks all we got was sparklers and a couple fountains and it was all over in a few minutes. This was in Las Vegas, you can light your own stuff. I was sad, I wanted to do more. It was soon bedtime, I wasn’t asleep long before my oldest brother (he was 23 at the time, I was 12) came in and said, “wake up, come on” I got up, we went out i the back yard and he started lighting off a bunch of Mortars. I was so happy and so excited. They were big and beautiful. We were lighting them off for what seemed like a couple hours. He really made my night, he didn’t have to, he could have stayed out with his friends, but he knew things were tight over at our house. He made sure his baby sister didn’t do without. Thank you Jeff!
