my best holiday memory is Christmas Eve every year until 2006-2007. my uncle passed away in 06 and my papaw passed away in 07. the whole family, 50-70 people would get together up at my mamaw and papaw’s house for the yearly Christmas party. But since they passed.. It’s just not been the same…none of us have.

My favorite memory is going Downtown to Brandies and riding the elevator to the top floor and the doors opening up to a version of the North Pole. It was so exciting and so fantastic. The Christmas Story Movie reminds me of it when the little boy goes to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas. Brandies was just like that. What a wonderful memory!

My favorite holiday memory is when I was 9 years old and it was Christmas Eve and our parents let us open our gifts up in the evening and when I was so surprised to see that my Mother made me a beautiful, lovely hand-made Little LuLu doll! It was so beautiful. I just was so happy! I played with her every day like she was my sister. It was one of my happiest holiday memories ever!
