I would love a lantern light just in case the lights go out. Way safer than lit candles.

I learned a lot about batteries but the most interesting thing to me was that in 1938 Wilhelm Konig made a discovery in Iraq of a 5″ pottery jar that contained a copper cylinder that encased an iron rod and decided it was an ancient battery.

I learned not to mix old and new batteries. I may have done that before not realizing that they are older ones that someone took out of something and put in my battery box.

I learned that it is a great idea to always keep extra batteries by the flashlights. It never fails when I need a flashlight the batteries are dead!
